OUTDOOR ADVENTURES IN HOCKING HILLS STATE PARK OFFERING THE BEST OHIO RIVER TRIPS FOR FAMILIES AND BEGINNERS.
We offer two trip options, both perfect for beginners. The Hocking River, where we operate, is a mostly calm and smooth waterway with a few gentle riffles, islands, and sandbars. This section of the river is classified as Class I.
You’ll be transported upstream, where you'll start your journey by canoeing or kayaking back to our location and your car, following the natural current. Paddling times are approximate and based on the average pace of a typical paddler in usual river conditions. Both trips take place on the Hocking River, but if conditions are unfavorable, an alternate waterway may be used.
